Walmart-owned land at U.S. 21 & Flint Hill Rd rezoned

York County Council approved rezoning 24 of 27 acres at U.S. 21 and Flint Hill Road from general commercial to light industrial after Walmart dropped store plans. A warehouse/distribution use is proposed; data centers and chemical manufacturing are excluded, and the frontage on U.S. 21 stays commercial for retail. A 75-foot buffer by Flint Hill Baptist's cemetery was a key neighbor concern.
